Extra Robot Arms that you wear

In my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to work with Prof. Harry Asada. Our lab was one of the first to start the emerging field of Supernumerary Robotic Limbs.

Aucto

I affectionately named my robot arm Aucto. Latin for augment as in human augmentation and coincidentally close to octo as in Dr. Octopus.

The goal of the project was to develop a highly versatile robotic extension which could increase worker productivity and assist them.
